Produced by PJ Hrvey's arranger/drummer Rob Ellis, the album has some exuberant and brooding Harvey-esque moments, with influence also in riot girl's visceral punk energy, but with post-punks atmosphere and intelligence. Described as "already surpassing Savages in terms of pure menace" [Everett True, Collapse Board] and a John Kennedy [Radio X] 'Ones to Watch for 2016'.
