His newly released debut single ‘Windmill’ (out now via NX Records) premiered on Gold Flake Paint: “As debut singles go, Rocheman’s ‘Windmill’ is just about as intriguing as it is impressive.” The surrealist cinematic video for which can now be viewed on YouTube.
Rocheman’s sound is a cinematic and immersive exploration of post-punk, new-wave and electronica. Rocheman blends skittish psychedelica poured into luscious pop melodies, reminiscent of Animal Collective, and Sufjan Stevens fragility, all to a backdrop of John Carpenter-esque synths.
