We're pleased to be working with the very talented Murphykid, who recently shared his wiftful debut single 'Breaking Bread' via The Line of Best Fit who hailed it "a heart-warming ode to Northern self-depricating humour." [Click on header to cont.].
The relese of 'Breaking Bread' (out now on Yucatan Records) could be called long overdue, given it was written back in 2004 during a period of heartbreak for Murphykid (aka Yorkshire-born Al Murphy). Recorded in the very glamorous setting of a garden shed, the demos Murphykid put down at this time were long lost and forgotten until they resurfaced again last year. After a re-record in a proper studio, and a deal with Yucatan Records, Murphykid finally releases 'Breaking Bread' to the world.
