Following their acclimed debut album 'Circulation' [2014, Light Organ Records] which was desbribed as "an intense trip of frenetic guitar stitchery and from-the-gut melodicism" [Q Magazine], "high-octane" [NME] and "a whirlwind of straight-out-of-the-garage noisiness and ear-worm hooks" [Artrocker], Cananda's JPNSGRLS return with possibly the feminist anthem of the year, 'Bully For You'.
Described by Gigslutz who premiered the track as "an explosive slice of raucous rock at its best", 'Bully For You' is, in the words of lyricist Charlie Kerr "an observational protest song about the ceaseless, unfair treatment of woman, from the point of view of a cisgendered man."
Bully For You' is the first teaser from JPSNGRLS second album, out later in the year. Listen to the track in full above.
